Su-Kam: legacy pioneer with post-2018 service question marks
Su-Kam was the Indian home-inverter pioneer through the 1998–2015 era and built deep electrician familiarity for Shiny / Falcon+ / Shark sine-wave units. The company entered NCLT insolvency proceedings in 2018 and went through restructuring; Su-Kam SKUs still trade through legacy resellers but manufacturing depth, dealer support and spare-part flow are no longer comparable to current market leaders. If you already own a Su-Kam unit, replacement parts can usually be sourced — for a new install in Kollam in 2026, the after-sales pathway is the question worth asking before you buy.
